Afternoon timeon the streetrecorded on tascam with shot gun mic.

I could never find this sound, so i made one. It's actually just pitched down record surface noise, but i think it works pretty well.

Field recording of elevated subway train in queens. The n and w trains take a sharp turn here, causing the wheels to squeal. Recorded using tascam dr-1 on 24-bit uncompressed setting. Used roll-off at 40 hz to save my speakers. I used a windscreen to cut down on wind noise which can otherwise be a problem on this recorder.

This is a field recording of a fast approaching freight train coming and going with whitsle blaring. I continued to record the sound of the wheels rumbling on tracks - fades at end. There is also a nice ambient hum of inside of carriage.

Fieldrecording at a railroad crossing, the bells are ringing. Just at the passing of the train, another train passes also. Afterwards you hear a car and e-bike driving by.

Two cable cars drove in to opposite directions. Halt at a station. Typically noise of the electric motors. Public traffic system of the city of bremen. Recorded in the district überseestadt.

Ambience recorded at a wine tasting evening, around 15 people to begin with, increasing to about 20 in total towards the end. Recorded using a single akg c451, run through an sqn 4s mini, into a tascam dr680d. Sorry it's not nice and stereo, but it was just recorded after an interview to give us something to work with in post. Might be panned hard left, too. Uploaded raw, thought it might be useful for someone!.
